The project brief was to design a new brand for young women. Sana is a custom cosmetics brand that focuses on making custom foundation and primer sets. Their mission is to encourage women to feel confident in their own skin with organic ingredients tailored to their skin type and skin problems. Sana is no ordinary makeup brand; their products don’t just cover up the face, but work like skincare to heal the skin while also providing amazing coverage. It’s the best of both worlds.

Name and Logo Story
The name Sana comes from the Spanish saying “Sana sana colita de rana. Y si no se te alibja, se te alibja mañana.” This saying is said when someone is trying to heal someone. The saying also comes with a hand gesture which is someone rubbing the wound. The person who usually does this gesture is a mother or grandmother. The logo mark represents this saying by having a girl with a mother figure rubbing her face as if she is saying “Sana sana.”
